I grew up sketching people and reading comic books. My favorite illustrators: Hergé, Franquin, Akira Toriyama, Sempé, Roahl Dahl, and Joann Sfarr.
After obtaining a BA in graphic design from the American University of Beirut, I worked at Extreme Creations, in a confectionery business as a character designer, more precisely: lollipop design!
A Job between Lebanon and China where the factories were located. It was one of the most fun jobs ! NiHAo .
Later I moved to Dubai and went into advertising with Leo Burnett as an art director.
I designed for the Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai Properties, Welcare Hospital, Global Village and Kellogg’s. From corporate identities , story boards to TVCs.
I am now in Montreal, after having worked for Aldo Group as an art director, I decide to befriend my pencil again , and draw that character ” Zina” that has to face life’s little problems like each and everyone of us.
I’m currently working as web and graphic designer and illustrator , and I am planning on publishing a comic book!
c’est l’FUN 🙂
